Thomas J. Webster’s (H index: 96) degrees are in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (B.S., 1995) and in biomedical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (M.S., 1997; Ph.D., 2000). He currently serves as the Art Zafiropoulo Endowed Chair and Professor of Chemical Engineering at Northeastern University. Prof. Webster has graduated/supervised over 189 graduate students generating over 700 peer reviewed articles in his 20 year career. He has formed 12 companies who collectively have over 21 FDA approved medical products. Prof. Webster is a fellow of over 8 societies and is a SCOPUS Highly Cited Research (Top 1% citations in materials science).
