Nanomaterials are the conventional materials with a grain size where at least one dimension is less than the 100 nanometers that is of 3 to 5 atoms along with some special properties of nano way. Research in nanomaterials is a branch that adopts a science and technology based approach to materials over nanotechnology. Minor variation in the dimensions of these nano material structures will create new properties with same materials. Large Surface area is one the most important characteristic of nano material results in the high re activity and resistance of material. Constructed nanoparticles are delivered and deliberately planned with particular properties identified with shape, size, surface properties and science. These properties are reflected in haze concentrates, colloids or powders. Regularly, the behavior of nanomaterials may depend more on the region of the surface than on the arrangement of the molecule itself.

Nanophotonics or Nano-optics is the study of light and its behavior on a nanometric scale. It deals mainly with optics, optical engineering, electrical engineering, and nanotechnology. The nanophotonics is mainly focused on manufacturing and application of nanostructures that promote the generation, propagation, manipulation, and detection of Optical energy from the IR to the UV regions. The term ‘Nano-optics’, like the term ‘optics’, generally refers to situations involving UV, visible and near IR light. Normal optical components, such as lenses and microscopes, basically cannot focus optical scales to nanometres due to the diffraction limit. It is feasible to squeeze light on a nanometric scale using other techniques such as, for example, surface plasmons, surface plasmons located over the metal objects at the nanoscales. The scope of nanophotonics extends to theory, modeling, and simulation, experimentation, instrumentation and application.

Although nanotechnology is a comparably new science, it already has numerous applications in everyday life. Among all the applications of nanomaterials, Nanotubes is the most popular one. Nanotechnology in medicine currently in development involves the use of nanoparticles to deliver drugs, heat, light or other substances to specific types of cells, such as cancer cells. The particles are designed so that they are attracted to the diseased cells, which allows the direct treatment of those cells. The term nano satellites refer to man-made satellites that have a critical mass of 1 to 10 kg which results in the significant reduction in the cost of the satellite. It is possible to organize atoms in structures that are only a few nanometers in size. A nanometer has approximately four atoms in diameters or 1/50,000 of a human hair. Colloidal nanomaterials have been developed in optical sensors to detect biomolecules in vitro, their application in implantable sensors is hampered by potential migration or removal from the implantation site. A possible solution is to incorporate colloidal nanosensors in the hydrogel scaffold before implantation. However, direct contact between the nanosensors and the hydrogel matrix has the potential to alter the performance of the sensor. The microcapsules selectively trap nanosensors within the nucleus while allowing free diffusion of smaller molecules such as glucose and heparin. The glucose-sensitive quantum dots or gold nanorods or heparin-sensitive gold nanorods were each encapsulated.
