In biomedical applications, the nanodevices are mainly characterized by organic and several types of inorganic nanoparticles. Polymer nanoparticles have been used mainly for the administration and implantation of drugs. They can be made as shells for the encapsulation of drugs and hydrophobic for the expected biocompatibility. Nanoparticles have been developed that encapsulate different cosmetic and pharmaceutical interests for new applications for skin care. It was discovered that nanoparticles show the unique additional physical properties and may offer another application possibility that conventional technology can not achieve. Therefore, this approach has become an alternative approach in biotechnology research towards sustainable development.
